Conversational Skills Class for Intermediate ESL Learners

This will be an opportunity for the practice of English conversational skills in a group setting. Students will be in a class of up to 4 other English intermediate language learners. Students will guided through informal conversations and varied topics agreed upon at the beginning of the session. Students can take a sampler class to determine if they would like to continue with classes with tutor or not. No stress or pressure. We want to make the session as enjoyable and fun as possible and provide an opportunity to meet other English learners, as well as potential new friends. Join us!

This lesson will focus on using small talk to get to know one another. We'll also map out your learning objectives and discuss how to customize your lessons to best suit you.

This is a trial class for us to discuss what you would like covered in future classes. I will gain an understanding on your level of English and target areas to improve. I will be able to make an informed decision on the best course for you to take going forward. Then we can set a schedule and work together to achieve your English language goals! :)

This class is designed for the student and teacher to get to know each other. We can cover whatever topic you like during the thirty minutes and I will ensure you get the maximum amount of student talking time. You can also tell me what your objectives for learning English are and I can suggest a suitable package and prepare specific lessons for the future.

Let's master the parts of speech together! This course consists of 10 classes that are 1 hour each (2 x 30 minute classes booked together). The breakdown of the course is as follows: Lesson 1: Introduction. Nouns. Lesson 2: Short review. Verbs and verb tenses. Lesson 3: Short review. Adjectives. Lesson 4: Short review. Adverbs. Lesson 5: Short review. Prepositions. Lesson 6: Short review. Pronouns. Lesson 7: Short review. Conjunctions. Lesson 8: Short review. Determiners. Lesson 9: short review. Interjections. lesson 10: Revise all work. Ask questions. Once this course is completed, we can go book more lessons if you need. :)

Conversational English

If you want to improve your fluency skills and talk like a native then this course is for you. I will make classes as engaging as possible and maximise your speaking time during each lesson. At the end of each class I will correct any errors and offer to send you additional work to improve such issues. We can also practice pronunciation or specific speaking questions that you would find in exams such as IELTS and TOEFL.

Business and Professional English

With experience teaching many CEOs and various large organizations such as the European Union, I have the capacity to tailor classes to meet your particular needs and objectives in regards to professional and business English. I will teach business vocabularly related to your industry and practice real life professional situations. Classes will largely be taught in a communicative manner but students can also practice listening, reading, and writing. Additional work will also be given for outside class if desired.

IELTS/TOEFL Exam Prep with Experienced Instructor

If you are preparing to take the IELTS or TOEFL exam this course will provide you with all the essentials needed to get a good mark. You will get to know the paper, practice past exam questions, and improve your English skills in general. Additional work will also be provided for outside class if desired.

General English

This course is fully adaptable to student's needs and learning objectives. As an advanced learner, the student can decide if they want to concentrate on speaking, grammar, reading, listening, or a mix of everything. I will also make my own recommendations on which areas a student needs to improve. I will select material appropriate for your needs and make classes as engaging and student centered as possible. I will also offer additional work for outside class if desired and give feedback on progress.

General English

Beginner's English Part 2

In this two part course we will cover all the basics for any beginner language learner. It will be taught in a communicative manner to increase student's confidence while speaking and to maximise their learning experience.
