Hi, my name is Dee and I'm originally from the US, have a BA, CELTA, Master of Education with a minor in Social Studies and am currently pursuing a Doctorate of Education. I have classroom experience teaching ESL in Vietnam with children, aged 4-17, as well as tutoring children online on various ESL platforms. I also have tutoring experience with adults online. My primary focus has been with improving English pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and the development of conversational skills.
Additionally, since I am attending grad school, I am well-acquainted with writing term papers, so I am also willing to assist (not do for you) students with vocabulary and grammar correction and over all writing critiques. You can book me specifically to offer help with writing an English term paper or correcting one already written. I'm happy to help.

This is for those English language students who have term papers or assignments due and need a Native speaker to assist them or critique their work to help ensure the best possible grade for the student. Since I'm also a current grad student (I'm studying for a Doctorate in Education) I understand the often grueling & stressful process. NOTE: This is a 30 minute session and the teacher will happily assist students if they need help with grammar/vocab or structure and use of words but teacher WILL NOT WRITE THE PAPER or FULLY COMPLETE AN ASSIGNMENT FOR YOU. So please understand this before you book this session.

Conversational Skills Class for Intermediate ESL Learners

This will be an opportunity for the practice of English conversational skills in a group setting. Students will be in a class of up to 4 other English intermediate language learners. Students will guided through informal conversations and varied topics agreed upon at the beginning of the session. Students can take a sampler class to determine if they would like to continue with classes with tutor or not. No stress or pressure. We want to make the session as enjoyable and fun as possible and provide an opportunity to meet other English learners, as well as potential new friends. Join us!

TOPIC OF YOUR CHOICE IN ENGLISH

This is an opportunity for you, the student, to choose a topic of interest. (IN ENGLISH). If you have a particular topic that you would like to discuss and/or explore further in English, then please contact the teacher and we can research the options and create a course that is fully in English. NOTE: Has to be a legitimate research topic and not vulgar or generally viewed by most as objectionable. The course will cover 5 sessions. Student needs to contact teacher PRIOR to the first session so that we are clear on subject matter and the parameters of the course sessions. By the first session, the teacher will have already fleshed out a "syllabus" and required initial research on the topic. The student(s) is expected to be prepared and serious about the topic and interested in thoughtful and critically-minded discourse.
