Robert Pennington

Hello! My name is Robert, I'm CELTA qualified and have been teaching for over 3 years. English is hugely important these days and if you need help with the basics, mastering some difficult grammar or perfecting your pronunciation I can help you out. Just give me a shout!

I'm passionate about languages, as well as English at a native level I can speak a bit of German and French.
I've been teaching English now since 2017, in Vietnam, China and now Hungary. In this time I have taught to all ages from primary school to adults, and at all levels and all environments from general, to business English and IELTS exam preparation.
I love teaching English and I prefer to teach it in a more conversational style. I don't like lectures, instead, I focus on a student-centred, class-based approach to language instruction.
I can give you a hand with anything you might need, just let me know and we can get started!

I had a class at midnight in Korean time. So it was a bit of a mess in the no-makeup,
but it seemed to be an advantage in the video class. The first meeting with Mr. Robert was friendly.
And the most important thing is that I really liked his British accent. I enjoyed the class so much that time went by so quickly, but one thing I regret was that it would be more helpful if I write down the wrong sentences in class. And the teacher is so handsome. Ha ha.
