Hello, my name is Cheri Roberts, and I am a Native English speaker with a neutral English Accent. I hold my Bachelor’s Degree as well as my TEFL Certificate. I have been teaching Online English full time for almost 45years to students from all over the world. I have just finished an extremely successful semester with a previous school and I am looking to start a new semester elsewhere. I believe I could make a value contribution to your team as it is an environment that I have become very accustomed to.

I have taught all levels of English, ranging from Beginner level to Advanced level. I have experience in teaching adults and children (aged 3 – 15 years old). I also teach Business English and I have a lot of experience in tutoring Business Professionals in how to communicate more efficiently in the work place in English. I can create my own lesson material, or easily use pre-made material. I can tutor one-on-one or teach in group settings. I believe in customizing the lesson based on the student’s level, wants and needs.

I feel that I establish great connections with students from all over the world. I have taught students from all over Europe, China, Korea, South America and even Eastern countries. I connect easily with most students, and I maintain long lasting relationships with these students, I have had some regular students for as long as two years.

I am a very patient teacher who focuses on the individual student’s skills as well as where they need to improve. I use encouragement and positive reinforcement techniques. I believe learning should be a positive experience so I always keep my lessons fun and enjoyable. I believe I do have a special technique when it comes to teaching and this makes the lessons not only enjoyable but meaningful and practical in their lives.

Prior to teaching I held a very successful 12 year- corporate career in Marketing, where I held various positions, including Product launches, Trade Shows, Training's and Seminars and Marketing Campaigns. I believe this gives me an incredible advantage in teaching Business English.
